Community Life

In addition to the usual educational concerns, students, teachers and staff of the Ukrainian Catholic University are united by other interests which help to unite the community. Scholarly, spiritual and recreational activities are often held together: conferences, retreats, tours, meetings "over coffee" and private celebrations of various occasions have already become part of the tradition.

We are joined by a common desire to follow in the footsteps of Christ's disciples, supported in various ways by the Chaplain's Office of the UCU.

Student groups share their interests with the rest of the community and sometimes surprise us with their artistic and charitable activities.

The University also cooperates closely with various outside service organizations, whose members also consider themselves part of the academic community. They are a special bridge which connects the University with the world, open to its needs and problems.
