The Department of International Relations and European Studies at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary invites applications for a full-time position in international relations at the rank of assistant professor. The initial contract is for four years, with a possible long-term renewal. Eligibility: The candidate should be a specialist in IR/IPE with regional expertise in the greater European neighbourhood, broadly defined. Candidates who specialize in Russian or Caucasian politics will receive particular consideration. The successful candidate should have a demonstrated potential for high-level research and publication, and a Ph.D. in international relations or political science by August 2008. Teaching responsibilities include three courses per year, plus supervision of MA and PhD theses.
